1. WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?

Depending on the nature and purpose of your interaction with Zeazoo (browsing the site, creating a user account, subscribing to our newsletter, completing contact forms, and any telephone conversations), we may collect the following Data:

  • Your email address is required on all of our forms, specifically if You wish to:
    • Create a user account for our site or order a product with a guest account;
    • Contact us;
    • Subscribe to our newsletter.
  • Data relating to Your identity, such as Your full name, email address and telephone number will be required if You want to order a product;
  • Data relating to browsing: Data relating to how You use the website, including: IP address, browser used, browsing duration, search history, operating system used, language and pages viewed;
  • Data about Your visits to our website, including traffic data, log files and other data or communication resources used by You when accessing our website.

2. HOW IS MY DATA COLLECTED?

Data can be collected in multiple ways:

  • It may be collected directly when You communicate with us through user account creation and newsletter subscription forms or when You order a product as a guest. Furthermore, we are likely to collect Your Data when You use the various contact forms on the website and/or communicate with Zeazoo by telephone or email.
  • When You contact us via these various means, a copy of Your conversation with ZeazooKids, including email addresses, is created in our backend. It is also sent over email to our G Suite account. Zeazoo uses G Suite to store information about the orders, including the data needed for the delivery, such as Your name, address and phone number. This information in not kept elsewhere or downloaded to employees computers.
  • Zeazoo also indirectly collects Your Data through cookies and tracers.

3. WHY IS MY DATA COLLECTED?

We collect personal data that You submit to us voluntarily when You place an order, contact us (e.g. via contact form or by email) or open a customer account with us. Mandatory fields are marked as such because we absolutely need those data to perform the contract or process Your contact request or open Your customer account, and You would otherwise not be able to complete Your order and/or create Your customer account or send the contact request. It is evident in each input form what data are collected.

We collect and use Your Data to:

  • Display our website and our products  to You;
  • Enable You to order a product and receive it at Your address;
  • Enable us to contact You regarding Your order;
  • Offer You the newsletters and products You have requested;
  • Notify You of changes to our website and our range of products and services;
  • Uphold our rights and duties as stipulated in contracts signed with users, as well as for all other legal purposes.

We also use cookies for:

  • Improving Your user experience, namely by:
  • Enabling our shop to recognise Your equipment, saving You from having to provide the same information several times to perform the same task;
  • Recognising the username and password You have provided so You do not have to enter them again for each page requiring it.
  • Analysing traffic and data on the website to:
    • Measure the number of users and subsequently make the website easier to use and ensure they can quickly respond to Your requests;
    • Help us understand how You use our shop in order to improve it.

4. WHO PROCESSES MY DATA?

Your Data is processed by Zeazooemployees tasked with:

    • Managing the website;
    • Handling the orders;
    • Managing lower-level employees.

We use the data that You disclose to us to perform the contract and process Your enquiries according to Art. 6 (1) 1 lit b GDPR. Upon completion of the contract or deletion of Your customer account, any further processing of Your data will be restricted, and Your data will be deleted upon expiry of the retention period applicable under relevant regulations, unless You expressly consent to the further use of Your data or we reserve the right to further use Your personal data in the scope and manner permitted by law, of which we inform You in this notice. Your customer account can be deleted at any time. For this purpose You can either send a message to the contact option specified below or use the relevant function available in the customer account.

Your Data may also, within the scope of our business and for external processing needs, be provided to subcontractors, service providers and other third parties, particularly for the purposes of hosting (IP address, visited pages), automation services, such as Mailparser.io (where the data is kept for 30 days), and to the shipping and tracking companies we use (Postone, DPD, DHL, Aftership). The latter are bound by contractual obligations to maintain the confidentiality of the Data and to use it solely for the purposes for which we provide them.

Your Data may also be sent to any buyer or successor in the event of the merger, transfer, restructuring, reorganisation, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of ZeazooKids assets due to uncertainties, bankruptcy, liquidation or other processes in which the Data of Users of ZeazooKids website are listed among the transferred assets.

Lastly, we may also disclose Your Data:

      • To comply with legal mandates, laws and legal procedures, including governmental and regulatory requests;
      • Our website may contain links to other sites or social network platforms managed on third party servers by people and organisations over which ZeazooKids has no control. We do not send Your data to these sites, and as such, we cannot under any circumstances be held liable for the way in which Your Data is stored or used on those third party servers.

We recommend that You read the applicable policy regarding personal Data protection for each third party website You access via our website in order to understand how Your Data will be used.

5. HOW LONG IS MY DATA STORED FOR?

Zeazoo only stores Your Data for the period necessary for the purposes explained in Article 3 above.

This storage period varies according to the Data in question, as it may be affected by the nature and purpose of the collection. Similarly, certain legal obligations stipulate a specific storage period.

When You subscribe to our newsletter, we store Your email address until You unsubscribe.

When You contact Zeazoo using the contact forms, Your Data will be stored for five (5) years from the date of the last exchange with Zeazoo, then they will be deleted.

When You create an account to buy a product, Your Data will be stored until You delete Your account or ask us to do this on Your behalf.

Lastly, Data collected using cookies/tracers will be stored for up to six (6) months for cookies and tracers measuring audience and up to thirteen (13) months for others.

6. HOW IS MY DATA PROTECTED?

Your Data is stored on secure servers protected by firewalls and antivirus software.

The security of the servers is handled by the hosting company. Additionally, we have implemented technical and organisational measures intended to protect the security and confidentiality of Your Data against any accidental loss and any unauthorised access, use, modification or disclosure. We undergo regular internal security audits and follow security feeds for any issues, which may make our infrastructure vulnerable to attacks.

Given the inherent characteristics of the internet, we cannot guarantee the optimal security of information exchanged over this network.

We strive to protect Your Data, but cannot guarantee the absolute security of information sent to the website. You agree that You provide Your Data at Your own risk.

We cannot be held liable for any failure to comply with privacy settings and security measures implemented on our website.

As such, You agree that the security of Your information is equally Your responsibility. For instance, You are responsible for keeping Your user account password confidential.

Never provide it to any third parties. Similarly, be careful when You share information in the public sections of the website as they can be viewed by all website users.

We use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to transmit Your data encrypted over the network.

7. WHAT ARE MY RIGHTS?

You can choose how the Data You provide is used:

      • You can browse the website without providing Data. If You do this, You will not be able to use certain features of the online shop, namely registering a user account and purchasing a product or products; contacting us with questions; receiving updates about our products, discounts, and limited offers.
      • You can decide to no longer receive the newsletter. Simply unsubscribe using the link in the email with the newsletter.
      • In any case, You can access Your user account at any time to view and update Your Data.
      • In accordance with the provisions of the applicable regulations regarding Data protection, namely the European General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (the “GDPR”) and the French Data Protection Act No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 and its amendments, You have the right to access and correct Your Data.
      • You also have the right to stipulate directives relating to the fate of Your Data in the event of Your death.

Furthermore, subject to the conditions of the aforementioned regulation for exercising Your rights, You have:

      • The right to erasure of Your Data,
      • The right to limit processing of Your Data,
      • The right to object to the processing of Your Data on legitimate grounds, in accordance with Article 21 of the GDPR,
      • The right to portability for the Data You have provided,
      • The right to withdraw consent, when it has been asked.

When processing of Your Data has occurred based on Your consent, You may withdraw that consent at any time. However, You acknowledge that any processing that occurred before Your consent was withdrawn remains entirely valid.

In accordance with Article 12.6 of the GDPR, when you exercise these rights, ZeazooKids, as the controller, reserves the right to require proof of Your identity. Please be aware that the data required to prove Your identity will be deleted once we have responded to Your request.
